British Medical Auctions Supports Swansea’s Beyond Recycling Project

British Medical Auctions is proud to support Swansea’s Beyond Recycling Project, an initiative aimed at promoting reuse, repair, and waste reduction through community-led programs. Oliver Pearson, Sales and Marketing Director, recently met with Chris Day, Beyond Recycling Project Manager, and Rhian Corcoran, Manager of the Environment Centre, to learn more about their impactful work in the local community.

The donation from British Medical Auctions will be used to support the Library of Things, a lending scheme based at the Switched On Energy Hub in Swansea. This project allows community members to borrow tools and equipment, fostering sustainable practices. The initiative also works alongside the weekly Repair Café, further empowering the community to reduce waste and extend the life of everyday items.

Oliver Pearson expressed his admiration for the project’s efforts, emphasizing how important it is to support initiatives that promote sustainability and community collaboration.
