Aqua Action: Our Commitment To Water Efficiency

Every drop counts when it comes to water usage. Ruben Haverts, our ESG Manager, had the opportunity to visit TBAuctions’ brand Auksjonen, where the unique practice of washing assets before auctioning reminds us of our water footprint. It was an insightful experience; he even got hands-on experience with the washing process.

Understanding the importance of minimizing water use is crucial for all our brands, not just those directly involved in such processes. Reducing water consumption aligns with our commitment to sustainability and responsible resource management.

We also encourage all our employees to do their part. Here are three easy tips on how they (and you) can make a difference:

• Optimize Office Water Use
  Small changes like ensuring dishwashers and washing machines in office spaces run only when full can significantly reduce water waste.

• Report Leaks Right Away
  A small drip can waste a lot of water over time. If you see a leaky faucet or toilet in the office, tell someone who can fix it immediately.

• Encourage Water Conservation Initiatives
  Participate in or suggest company initiatives to reduce water usage, such as installing water-saving devices in office restrooms and kitchens.
