PS Auction Releases 2024 ESG Report Highlighting Impact Through Reuse

PS Auction has published its 2024 ESG report, detailing a year of progress in sustainability, employee well-being, and social impact. The report showcases how PS Auction continues to create value through reuse—helping reduce environmental impact while supporting both customers and communities.

Key achievements from 2024 include:

118,966 items reused through the platform—an increase of over 25,000 from the previous year
42 million kg of CO₂ emissions helped avoided by choosing reuse over new production
65% of the company’s courtesy car fleet now electrified
– Over SEK 1 million donated to Queen Silvia Children’s Hospital through auction-driven fundraising

PS Auction uses a cloud-based model developed with Doconomy and Ålandindex to estimate the CO₂ impact of reused items. This model compares each item sold with the emissions data of a newly produced counterpart—enabling customers to see their contribution to climate benefits and apply the data to their own sustainability reporting.

In addition to environmental milestones, the ESG report highlights PS Auction’s internal work to support employee well-being and broader social commitments.
