Turning Waste into Wealth: PS Auction Highlights Corporate Recycling Potential

PS Auction has released a new report mapping corporate recycling trends, revealing significant potential for growth in the reuse market. The findings indicate that millions in forgotten capital exist within companies, waiting to be unlocked through more effective recycling practices.

The study shows that 28% of companies have purchased used equipment in the past three years. Encouragingly, among those who have not yet done so, 39% expressed interest in making future second-hand purchases, highlighting strong growth potential for the reuse sector. Machinery emerged as the most in-demand category, with vehicles, office equipment, and furniture closely following.

“We work to make recycling an integral part of business operations and see that the market is still developing,” says David Benisty, Marketing Manager at PS Auction.

The report is based on a survey conducted by PS Auction, gathering responses from 633 company representatives, many of whom influence purchasing decisions. The data underscores the growing awareness of recycling’s economic and environmental benefits, reinforcing PS Auction’s mission to make sustainability a core business practice.
